Week in review (chock full of Cena-ness)
Thurs. was really weird. It started off weird and got weirder. I decided to wear my Cena shirt to school. The teacher was late again she came at 9:29 and the class starts at 9:30. I should just keep testing how late I can come with out being late. I still feel a lot of people in the class feel intimated by the 2 good writers in the class. The teacher gets mad because nobody wants to read what they wrote. I sure don’t. I feel like it’s not good enough and don’t like it. I’m not finding the joy of writing in there, I enjoy writing in my blog or writing for myself though. In my comm class we watched a story about backyard wrestling . Then I’m thinking “Damn why‘d I have to wear my Cena shirt?!”. I knew the discussion was going to gravitate towards me. Then she asks me a question about wrestling. Why am I the wrestling expert? Just because I’m sporting a Cena shirt? Ok there’s a Cena fangirl in here.
On Fri. I had a silly thought “What if I had a Cena shirt back in my old comm. class? I bet the teacher would’ve told me something. I just don’t like be lectured on watching wrestling. I’m an adult and I’ve only been watching it for about 4 years anyway. I’m not one of those lifetime fans. That creepy guy in my math class did something really funny. He got mad at the teacher for erasing the problems too quickly.

Week in review (a long entry full of OC references, you've been warned)
Originally posted on Monday, February 27, 2006
On Monday nothing much really happened . I dug out one of my old tapes of Are-Oh-Vee from 1999. I got all nostalgic watching it.
On Tuesday Well the teacher is coming later and later. I still can't figure out a time to get there and just keep adding time. There is this girl in my class that never stops talking and seriously want to tell her to shut up! So I get back the work I needed to put in a folder, and she apologized for trashing my folder she can't just sugar coat it now. I got a "bad" grade on my story. Maybe it needed some editing. I can't believe my teacher didn't see the reference to Mr. Rodgers in my story. It wasn't even a hidden one or anything. How could she not know who he is? Ditz!! I got a good grade on the journals because I love journaling it's my thing. Plus she was off on another topic, she was so excited about Everwood coming back on or something. I really don't know I don't watch that show. She didn't know that internet fan group/communities existed. Duh! They do for like almost every show ever created. I still don't have a group to work with for my comm class, and I still don't know anybody in there. But I'd really hate working with a journalist. I fell asleep during that movie again. I don't care it's long and boring anyway.
On Wednesday I took a quiz in my math class. The teacher is very negligent he handed out the quiz and then left the room. It was easy I guessI'm happy I get to leave early because I don't like doing math anyway, so the less time I spend in there the better. I was messing around on the computers. So after watching 5 Questions there I race to get dressed for my exercise class. When I get there I see nobody from my class is around. So I figured I was late and they left without me. Then I go into this room to look at the clock and I see it's not 12 it's 11!!!!! ack!!!!!! Plus I wasn't even supposed to be in that room anyway they just chase you out because of all the stupid rules they have there. I go back to the locker room and get my stuff, and there's this girl dressing there and we are both waiting for each other to leave. It was creepy and awkward. I hope she didn't think I was a pervert or something. I decided not to change because why should I? It will just waste more time later. I wanted to go and buy some candy from a vending machine, but the candy I buy doesn't fall out. So I have to buy another one. I'm trying to buy some more candy and this lady comes up to me and wants me to open a bottle of water for her. I bet the lady wanted me to because I look burly, but I'm really weakling. It would be rude for me not to, but she was pretty rude too. Didn't she see me putting coins in a machine? I spent $1.95 on candy. I spent almost all my change. Too bad the machine doesn't accept dollar bills. I walked in my exercise class, and I was happy I wasn't the last one. That is my only goal when we walk.
On Thursday I left for class late and I still got there before the teacher. Everybody was waiting outside for her complaining about her in general. They were complaining about how ditzy she is and how she goes off topic on a non related subject and how she was describing her life and how dissatisfied with it she is. We were planning on how we could trick her and get her talking on a non related subject and not have her teach us anything writing related. She was a navy blue explosion today. He was telling us about watching the OC and how much she loves it. Maybe she's not all bad, but she's still a little off. (this part refers to the OC very heavily if you are not interested or just don't "get" it than just skip obver this part, it's been highlighted for your Convenience)I mean she was going on and on about an "episode" of the OC that was on yesterday. Yesterday?! Hello?! Is there something I'm missing out on here? The OC wasn't on yesterday. I was American Idol for 2 hours. The "episode" she was describing was actually the plotline to the movie Orange County. She was mixing those two things together and making her own "episode". But to me the best drama isn't Everwood or the OC or One Tree Hill or anything like that; it's wrestling. It really is a drama once you take a look at it. I thought since she was focusing on dramas what's better than writing my own wrestling story with my own made up characters? People in the class were saying about how much they hate the OC. It would be funny if I wore an OC shirt to class, maybe an "I ? Seth Cohen" one. Maybe I'd heat for it like I do with my Cena shirt. I think the OC is less controversial than wrestling. She was talking about the show being on yesterday, it's not even coming back until next month. She was referencing the last new episode they showed., and because she had us write a journal entry about the OC in class mine is sort of a joke and latent with OC references. I just hope she gets them since she didn't get the Mr. Rodgers one. And for somebody who supposedly likes the show. She doesn't even know what color Marissa's hair is. And she called the show Seinfeld, "Steinfeld" WTF!? After all that nonsense in class I decide I want to play on the computers like I always do because I have literally nothing to do for 3 hours. It was going smoothly for a while until they announced you had to leave if you weren't working on work, and just playing around. The people there don't know the arrival strategy you get there at the 50s or on the hour. There are less people there at those times. After my short time there (no I didn't get kicked out) I tried some Smoothie Mix Skittles. They are so-so the berry ones and the orange mango ones are good. The Strawberry banana, Lemon Berry, and the Peach Pear are gross. In my comm class we were talking about the new network to fill the void left by the UPN stations. Besides the teacher I was like the only one in the class who knew what she was talking about. I'm very well read in media related topics because it interests me. After the movie we talked about advertising in tv shows like the reality ones like Survivor and American Idol. I didn't even want to get into wrestling again and all the sponsorship in that like the PPVs and the sponsored appearances /signings. I may seem "lowbrow" in some areas, I usually excel in something else. I bet a lot of people in that class doubt me, but I'll show them. I mean I may look dumb, but you don't really know what's really going on up there. I'm a media nerd, ok mostly television. That subject is more interesting to me than cars, sports, celebrity gossip, makeup, or any sort of thing like that.
On Friday I decided to start planning out my wrestling story. Since I'm going to have a lot of characters I need to figure out how my characters are going to act and who they will feud with. My math quiz grade was um, ok. Nothing really interesting happened in my math class and that's a surprise.

Monday, that guy who was complaining about the teacher erasing the problems too quickly didn't know there was a holiday. The teacher had mentioned it like all last week. That guy is such an airhead. In my exercise class we had to walk again. This girl asked me in my class why don't I say anything? Because I don't feel like I have anything TO say. I mean I'm not a snob or anything I just like to clam up. I don't like to say anything because I feel I might say something really stupid. I've just been that way for like 10 years now why change? This time I did better I was happy I wasn't the last one. I was hurting again, but not as much.
On Tues. I went to class and I got there a little later and the teacher got there at 9:26. Wow! She was 4 minutes early! She seemed a little racist because she wants to know what people "are". When I was in my comm. Class we had to write about what we had talked about on Thurs. (backyard wrestling and it's influences) I didn't want to write about wrestling just to show them.
On Wed. we had a math test and the guy who was sitting in front of me didn't pass back the scratch paper . So I had to go up and get it myself. He didn't realize that he didn't pass out the paper until he was done with the test. *in Napoleon's voice* "Idiot!" I can't believe I got a good grade on my homework I didn't even do all the assignments. I pinched my finger on one of the weight machines in my exercise class adjusting the weight. I got a blood blister. I haven't gotten one in years.
I woke up with a sore shoulder on Thurs. I was killing me. Well the teacher was late again she got there at 9:29. I'll add more time I can work it out right? We were talking about passion and writing. We did that activity where each person writes part of a story and then passes it on. The story my row/group ended up writing sounded like a scene from Clueless. It was about some girl freaking out because some beer fell on her shoes. It was so funny I really liked the story we wrote. I can't stand the strict diet I put myself on! It's killing me! I'm sick of mustard! (the spicy kind the plain yellow kind is just gross) I miss mayo! The journalists in my comm class act like they are so great. For some reason in that class I still fell like I'm being singled out because I like wrestling. Then the teacher was saying about how Letterman's Stupid Human Tricks are "stupid", well the name does denote that. I didn't want to fess up that I'm a Letterman fan too.
I would just make me look even more "lowbrow". I don't want to admit that it's been my dream to be on his show for a while. I don't even need to do a Stupid Human Trick I could just be famous and promote something. Plus I don't get why she's dissing Letterman. She works for a CBS affiliate in another city. She also wouldn't like that to remember her name I use a mnemonic device to remember her name. Her name is the same as a former WWE Diva.
You want to know what kids are doing? They are also imitating what they see on the Olympics too, so wrestling isn't always the culprit.

Let’s Get Physical Science!
Current mood:
Category: School, College, Greek
Sorry this blog is a little late I had 3 homework assignments due in 2 weeks. So the stuff in this blog is like 2 weeks old.
I know the title sounds like Engrish. I wanted it to sound like that.
Monday
I was planning to go to the Wrestlemania 24 press conference at Staples Center. But it would’ve been hard to get to Staples Center without a car. It’s so hard to get to the city. It would have been funny if I had gone and took unauthorized pictures of Cena with my camera phone and got it confiscated. But what I really want to know is my are they having a press conference here in Los Angeles instead of Florida?
When I was watching The People’s Court there were some that were made during the writers’ strike. I didn’t even know somebody wrote for that show. I just thought it was just the judge and the litigants. Anyway the part in the beginning before the case there is a part that goes "This is the plaintiff (name) and he/she says…" I had no idea somebody wrote that. The writers’ strike episodes have a scrolling message at the bottom that says it was made during the strike. I thought somebody just read the statements the litigants made. I know somebody had to write those lame case titles though.
Tuesday
When I start up school I have to eat a big breakfast. I took my old outdated radio because I’m taking a morning class which is a killer I like to listen to the Kevin and Bean show. The ride to school wasn’t that bad and I was feeling somewhat optimistic. I felt that way because I was starting a new semester. I usually start them with some degree of optimism. When I got off the bus I jumped off (and didn’t hurt myself). I usually only do this when I’m trying to get away from homeless people. When I got off the bus I saw there was a girl from one of my classes from last semester who I use to talk to. But I stood way behind her so she wouldn’t notice me because I forgot her name. It was really bothering me that I couldn’t remember it. Since I was at school a half hour early to make the roster I decided to walk around and see what was there. I went to where the food is sold just to see how much it went up since food prices are rising at all places including overpriced school food. A breakfast plate costs $6.50. I wondered how much food I could get for that much.
You have to get to class early to make the roster. Plus you have to fight it out with the people who want to add. When class finally started the teacher said it might be cancelled due to budget cuts. I didn’t really care I didn’t want to be there anyway. The worst thing was that I didn’t need the lecture and I could just take the lab. The counselor lied to me! (more about the counselors in another blog) I was really hoping the first class would be short, but she actually had us take notes and stuff. I was so bored. We got out of class when were suppose to.
Wednesday
I went to get my book for class and some worksheets for class. I had to get the worksheets at some copy store. The guy working there was pretty nerdy and said not to pretend we (my dad and I) were smarter than him. Why do I always run into nerdy people who work in stores?
I was reading this old article about John Cena and the funny thing was that it said that 6 years ago Cena talked like a surfer. I could not even imagine him talking like that. http://www.toromagazine.ca/1006/johncena/index.html
Thursday
When I got to school I was looking for napkins because I forgot to bring some from home and I had brought a messy snack with me to eat. I wish they put prices on the food they sell there like granola and energy bars. I want to know how much they are inflated. They do sell Jones Soda for $1.80 a bottle. I noticed that a breakfast bowl is $3.99 not as high as the $6.50 one, but that’s still expensive and I forgot to mention that neither of those include drinks. Couldn’t you get a fast food combo meal (sandwich/burrito side and drink) for about $3.99 or less? I also saw they were selling one orange for $1.25. I could get like a sack or oranges at the store for that much.
When I get to class I see this sign by the door that said "Book 4 Sell". For anybody who hasn’t been to college before; people who are selling old books that are usually at a cheaper price than the bookstore sells post signs all over campus advertising their book(s) and then there is some type of contact info like a phone number or an email address. Gotta love badly spelled signs at Junior College. It reminded me of the "I sale Mary Kay" sign I saw on a car in the school parking lot last year. I don’t remember if I blogged about that sign or not.
The lecture was long and boring and I was taking notes and writing. During one part of the lecture I wasn’t really paying attention to what I was writing and I tried to erase what I had written in pen because I was taking notes in pencil. The thing I hate about these long classes is that we don’t get a break. I mean if I didn’t plan my blogs and stuff in there I’d go nuts. My brain can’t take it. It’s mentally draining.
This one girl asked me about the lab book when I was talking to her I noticed she was wearing neon pink and green eye shadow. One color blended into the other which I thought would make brown. (red+green=brown) It reminded me a little on something Mimi would wear (from the Drew Carey Show) But that girl has her own look. I think she’s brave. I know I wouldn’t wear that.
Then it was time for lab. A 3 hour lab, a 3 hour lab. (sing to the tune of the Gilligan’s Island theme song) I have the same teacher for both classes. She told us that the class will usually take the whole 3 hours. Great!
I was working with 2 boys; we had to be in groups of 3. It wasn’t like the groups were chosen we picked them, so I just took the closest people. The funny thing about my group is that one of the guys is a math nerd. These types are a very interesting character. I find it hard to communicate with them since they see everything in mathematical terms, and I don’t. My old high school math tutor was like that. He reminded me of him in a lot of ways. I can’t do math very well. I can get by. I know how to do the 4 basic functions (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) I can also so fractions and some basic algebra. He was doing the equations we had to figure out in his head. The other guy and I were lost @o@. I had to work them out. I never do math in my head unless it’s something simple. The funny thing was that he was so confident in his answers. The teacher walked by and told my group our equations were wrong. I actually got a different answer than him, but I figured it was wrong because I’m not good at math. It takes balls to be so confident in a wrong math answer. I’m like "I don’t know if it’s right. Maybe? Let’s just move on to another problem." He was telling me about how much he enjoys math and that he takes calculus. That shot down the confidence I had in my math skills even more. He was telling me and the other guy about how easy math is (for him). I’m not going to say or pretend I’m good at something I’m not. Plus how could you fake being good at math?
When we were doing the lab the math guy said he would count backwards in Chinese and after he counted he said he was really counting backwards in Japanese like I would’ve noticed. I don’t remember much from Japanese even though I took it 1 year ago.
I had to go to the bathroom so I left the room when I got back to the room I passed that sign again and thought it would be funny to take a picture of it. This is when a camera phone comes in handy.
When class was over I saw that sign again so I went and I took a picture of it. Before I did I made sure nobody saw me in the hall doing that. I didn’t want anybody to think I was taking pictures of the school for other reasons. I had to take the picture twice because the first one didn’t come out. When I had the best picture I looked at it in my phone and laughed.
