Cena Ring Giant Product Review

Originally posted on Jul 9, 2006

So on Friday I splurged on a John Cena Ring Giant figure. I had wanted one for a while. It's pretty cool and detailed. Like his shorts and wrist bands are made out of fabric. And it has a chain, but it's made out of plastic. It's pretty big. It's taller than Barbie who is 11 ½ inches tall. I think it is about 13 ½ inches tall. The only real problem I have with it is that the eyes on it are brown and he not wearing knee pads. I have voiced my concern as question for Cena to possibly answer in 5 Questions.
Here is a picture of the figure, it's not a doll. It put it next to my Midge doll a friend of Barbie who is also 11 ½ inches tall, and a 6 inch Cena figure for reference. I am not making a little saga with these.

What a doll! (I couldn't think of a better title)

Question: What do Mc Hammer, Brooke Sheilds, Soleil Moon Frye, Melissa Joan Hart, Michael Jackson, Twiggy, Vitamin C, Lindsay Lohan, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Gwen Stefani all have in common?

Answer: There were dolls made of them.

Sometimes I know I am an impulse buyer. Especially when it comes to Gwen Stefani/No Doubt stuff. So when I was at the mall a few days ago and I saw those Gwen Stefani dolls I HAD to buy one. I had wanted one for Christmas and/or my birthday, but I couldn't find any before that time and I was sad. There were only a few of Gwen left and a bunch of the Harajuku Girls. I chose the Cool Gwen doll because I didn't like the Bananas Gwen cause she looks like a majorette. It took me a long time to find the right doll because a lot of the boxes of the Cool dolls were damaged. The 4 different Gwen dolls are dressed like Gwen in different videos off her LAMB album. Three of them are from different videos Hollaback and Bananas Gwen are from the "Hollaback Girl" video, Tick-Tock Gwen is from "What you Waiting For?" video, and Cool Gwen is from the "Cool" video.  I really wanted to get 2 Cool dolls one to keep as a collectors item in the box and one to play with and undress. (I know that sounds a little perverted), but my mom convinced me not to get 2 dolls because they were $20 each, not including tax. The doll is pretty neat. It comes with a lot of small accessories that can be easily lost. I can't really get a good look at the feet on the doll, but it looks like the feet have molded on shoes or they are detachable like the Bratz feet I really can't say until I get another doll and take it out of the box. If I do get another one I'll post pictures of the opened one too.

When I went to Sanrio I checked out the Harajuku Lovers stuff. It was the same stuff I saw at the other Sanrio stores I had been to like 1-2 months ago. But I noticed something that was new in the candy section Gwen Stefani Harajuku Lovers brand gum. I really just went to Sanrio to get pencils and stickers. I was really debating it on because it costs $2.99. I decided to take a chance on it. I knew if it tasted bad at least I would have the cute little tin it came in. Well the gum is ok, there is nothing special about it. If you are familiar with Sanrio chiclets it is just a tin full of the orange ones. I'm assuming they fit in the little dispensers too, but I haven't tried. Here is a picture of the gum, and the tin.  I know the pictures are really bad but the writing on the tin says "I'm just an Orange County girl"

Since it's Fathers' Day I would like to say all the different tv fathers that are like my father; Jack Gallow from Just Shoot Me, Homer Simpson from the Simpsons, and Frank Costanza from Seinfeld.
