I'm moving and I think it's bittersweet. First I thought it was bad. Then I remembered all the things I really don't like about where I live. But there will also be bad things about the new place I'm moving to. I'm trying to be optimistic about it as much as possible. Which is really hard for me. I'm not a very optimistic person. Well I start off really optimistic about something and then my optimism dies very quickly.
Well I will be closer to the bus station. I'm already to take on driving again. I feel inspired to try it again. I want to learn a new skill. I haven't attempted driving since I was 18. At first I was very eager to do it. I was a little upset because most of my peers were driving at like 12 or 14. I mean it was like a rite of passage you pass 8th grade, and you learn how to drive. Even though it's totally illegal for a 14 year old to drive a car in my state. I didn't even start taking Driver's ED classes until I turned 18. After I passed the written part of the test. The funny thing is that the only thing I remember about it was that there was some little kid in the DMV office with a Sailor Pluto doll.
I was scared at the thought of doing it, and I was so nervous when I actually got behind the wheel and drove. I went to a crappy driving school, and I didn't learn much. All I did was steer the car. She would do the petals. The training car had 2 sets of petals. I mostly ended up running errands for the teacher. I was so frustrated I never ended up taking the driving test.
Not being able to drive as been one of my secret shames. I use to just let people assume I ride the bus because I'm poor. That's not really a lie I am poor, or let them assume I didn't have access to a car. Please don't count me out. Plus if I can drive I can go to all the meet and greets and signings I want to if I have access to a car.
Here's a list of some of the things I will miss:
Having a clothes dryer
Having an air conditioner
Having 2 bathrooms
Having a lemon tree
Having a larger bedroom
Living near a good Dollar Tree the one that I'll live near is ghetto
Here's a list of things I won't miss:
The neighbors I don't like (there were some cool neighbors too)
Having a bedroom that faces the street
Not Having a front window, there is no front window because of the attached garage
Having a small closet
Having my bedroom door hit my closet door when ever it was opened (seriously my bedroom was so horribly designed)
"Cottage cheese" ceilings (I don't know what they are really called)
