Sorry this blog is a little late I had 3 homework assignments due in 2 weeks. So the stuff in this blog is like 2 weeks old.

I know the title sounds like Engrish. I wanted it to sound like that.

Monday
I was planning to go to the Wrestlemania 24 press conference at Staples Center. But it would’ve been hard to get to Staples Center without a car. It’s so hard to get to the city. It would have been funny if I had gone and took unauthorized pictures of Cena with my camera phone and got it confiscated. But what I really want to know is my are they having a press conference here in Los Angeles instead of Florida?

When I was watching The People’s Court there were some that were made during the writers’ strike. I didn’t even know somebody wrote for that show. I just thought it was just the judge and the litigants. Anyway the part in the beginning before the case there is a part that goes "This is the plaintiff (name) and he/she says…" I had no idea somebody wrote that. The writers’ strike episodes have a scrolling message at the bottom that says it was made during the strike. I thought somebody just read the statements the litigants made. I know somebody had to write those lame case titles though.

Tuesday
When I start up school I have to eat a big breakfast. I took my old outdated radio because I’m taking a morning class which is a killer I like to listen to the Kevin and Bean show. The ride to school wasn’t that bad and I was feeling somewhat optimistic. I felt that way because I was starting a new semester. I usually start them with some degree of optimism. When I got off the bus I jumped off (and didn’t hurt myself). I usually only do this when I’m trying to get away from homeless people. When I got off the bus I saw there was a girl from one of my classes from last semester who I use to talk to. But I stood way behind her so she wouldn’t notice me because I forgot her name. It was really bothering me that I couldn’t remember it. Since I was at school a half hour early to make the roster I decided to walk around and see what was there. I went to where the food is sold just to see how much it went up since food prices are rising at all places including overpriced school food. A breakfast plate costs $6.50. I wondered how much food I could get for that much.

You have to get to class early to make the roster. Plus you have to fight it out with the people who want to add. When class finally started the teacher said it might be cancelled due to budget cuts. I didn’t really care I didn’t want to be there anyway. The worst thing was that I didn’t need the lecture and I could just take the lab. The counselor lied to me! (more about the counselors in another blog) I was really hoping the first class would be short, but she actually had us take notes and stuff. I was so bored. We got out of class when were suppose to.

Wednesday
I went to get my book for class and some worksheets for class. I had to get the worksheets at some copy store. The guy working there was pretty nerdy and said not to pretend we (my dad and I) were smarter than him. Why do I always run into nerdy people who work in stores?

I was reading this old article about John Cena and the funny thing was that it said that 6 years ago Cena talked like a surfer. I could not even imagine him talking like that. http://www.toromagazine.ca/1006/johncena/index.html

Thursday
When I got to school I was looking for napkins because I forgot to bring some from home and I had brought a messy snack with me to eat. I wish they put prices on the food they sell there like granola and energy bars. I want to know how much they are inflated. They do sell Jones Soda for $1.80 a bottle. I noticed that a breakfast bowl is $3.99 not as high as the $6.50 one, but that’s still expensive and I forgot to mention that neither of those include drinks. Couldn’t you get a fast food combo meal (sandwich/burrito side and drink) for about $3.99 or less? I also saw they were selling one orange for $1.25. I could get like a sack or oranges at the store for that much.

When I get to class I see this sign by the door that said "Book 4 Sell". For anybody who hasn’t been to college before; people who are selling old books that are usually at a cheaper price than the bookstore sells post signs all over campus advertising their book(s) and then there is some type of contact info like a phone number or an email address. Gotta love badly spelled signs at Junior College. It reminded me of the "I sale Mary Kay" sign I saw on a car in the school parking lot last year. I don’t remember if I blogged about that sign or not.

The lecture was long and boring and I was taking notes and writing. During one part of the lecture I wasn’t really paying attention to what I was writing and I tried to erase what I had written in pen because I was taking notes in pencil. The thing I hate about these long classes is that we don’t get a break. I mean if I didn’t plan my blogs and stuff in there I’d go nuts. My brain can’t take it. It’s mentally draining.

This one girl asked me about the lab book when I was talking to her I noticed she was wearing neon pink and green eye shadow. One color blended into the other which I thought would make brown. (red+green=brown) It reminded me a little on something Mimi would wear (from the Drew Carey Show) But that girl has her own look. I think she’s brave. I know I wouldn’t wear that.

Then it was time for lab. A 3 hour lab, a 3 hour lab. (sing to the tune of the Gilligan’s Island theme song) I have the same teacher for both classes. She told us that the class will usually take the whole 3 hours. Great!

I was working with 2 boys; we had to be in groups of 3. It wasn’t like the groups were chosen we picked them, so I just took the closest people. The funny thing about my group is that one of the guys is a math nerd. These types are a very interesting character. I find it hard to communicate with them since they see everything in mathematical terms, and I don’t. My old high school math tutor was like that. He reminded me of him in a lot of ways. I can’t do math very well. I can get by. I know how to do the 4 basic functions (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) I can also so fractions and some basic algebra. He was doing the equations we had to figure out in his head. The other guy and I were lost @o@. I had to work them out. I never do math in my head unless it’s something simple. The funny thing was that he was so confident in his answers. The teacher walked by and told my group our equations were wrong. I actually got a different answer than him, but I figured it was wrong because I’m not good at math. It takes balls to be so confident in a wrong math answer. I’m like "I don’t know if it’s right. Maybe? Let’s just move on to another problem." He was telling me about how much he enjoys math and that he takes calculus. That shot down the confidence I had in my math skills even more. He was telling me and the other guy about how easy math is (for him). I’m not going to say or pretend I’m good at something I’m not. Plus how could you fake being good at math?

When we were doing the lab the math guy said he would count backwards in Chinese and after he counted he said he was really counting backwards in Japanese like I would’ve noticed. I don’t remember much from Japanese even though I took it 1 year ago.

I had to go to the bathroom so I left the room when I got back to the room I passed that sign again and thought it would be funny to take a picture of it. This is when a camera phone comes in handy.

When class was over I saw that sign again so I went and I took a picture of it. Before I did I made sure nobody saw me in the hall doing that. I didn’t want anybody to think I was taking pictures of the school for other reasons. I had to take the picture twice because the first one didn’t come out. When I had the best picture I looked at it in my phone and laughed.
