Culinary delights (contains meat)

Originally posted on 12/11/2006

So when I really want something and I can't get it here are some of my secret well they are not so secret now, recipes. Most of these are based off my whacked out palette from eating public school food for 13 years, Wow! That is a lucky number, ok I won't be as superstitious as I was before.
The Mc Tib
When I really want a Mc Rib and I can't get one or even get a preformed rib patty thing. So I invented the Mc Tib, it is called the "Mc Tib" because I used turkey loaf instead of a rib patty thing. You may be asking yourself what a turkey loaf is. It's this preformed turkey meat loaf thing. It's not actually a real cut of meat. They sell it in the frozen food section, but it is a seasonal item. I can never find a bun like they use on the real Mc Rib, so I like to use a hoagie roll. It's long enough to fit the piece of turkey loaf. It is really hard to find Mc Donald's barbeque sauce, unless you ask for like 6 packs when you order Mc Nuggets, but you know they don't want to let loose with the sauce packs anyway. I have found some good substitute sauces the one they give at Jack in the Box is really close and the Hunts sauce is really close too.
Ok here is the recipe
1 turkey loaf already cooked
1 bun
Barbeque sauce
Make sure your turkey loaf is already cooked. If you want to wait a whole 2 hours to make a sandwich and cook your loaf you can. After your loaf is cooked cut it into ½ to 1 inch thick pieces. (sorry metric people I'm too stupid and lazy to convert it). Wash the gravy off the cut loaf piece. Slather barbeque sauce on both sides, place in the bun, and heat in the microwave for a few seconds.
Bacon taco
I invented this when I was thinking about these things they use to serve for breakfast at school. It was a corndog pancake-like thing. It had a breakfast sausage on a stick with a pancake coating encasing the sausage. This thing was always nasty. They would call it "pancakes and sausage", but it was far from that. The pancake part was all burnt, black and hard the sausage part was all cold inside. One day I was at home and I had some pancakes and some bacon and I was thinking "why don't I make something similar to that corndog pancake-like thing?" Thus the bacon taco was invented.
What you need
Pancakes
Strips of cooked bacon to your desired doneness
Take the pancake and fold it over in half then put your bacon on one side of the pancake and eat like a taco.
I prefer to use big pancakes. I like to use pork or turkey bacon. You can also use beef bacon too or even other types of meats.
Chicken fried burger
I didn't like this the first time I tried it. The school was trying to get rid of some leftover chicken fried steak patty things. So they put the patty in a hamburger bun and gave it a strange name, I forget what though. So stupidly I took the burger. It tasted horrible and really dry. A few years later I had a leftover chicken fried steak from a tv dinner and a hamburger bun. So I decided to remake the sandwich. This time it tasted better because the patty was moist.
What you need
A chicken fried patty steak thing
A hamburger bun
Taquitos and ranch dressing
Ok this isn't a recipe exactly. It's just they way I like to eat my taquitos. I prefer it over guacamole. When there was a condiment shortage at my school I just got use to eating them that way.
I hope you enjoyed and are willing to try these culinary delights. To any vegetarians and vegans I offended by posting this I am sorry but I enjoy eating meat.
